studio work

let’s make some noise!

In the fourth grade I picked up a pair of drumsticks and decided I wanted to make music for a living. I eventually found myself in the recording studio as an engineer, producer, and musician. I moved to NYC to attend NYU where I completed my bachelor’s and master’s degrees in Music Technology and received my certification as a Tonmeister—a master of sound.

My experience in the classroom and in the studio have given me a wide and unique set of skills that make me as comfortable recording an orchestra as I am recording an indie band. Today, I am proud to work with the various members of the local music scene—from Broadway to Rockwood.

Recording & Mixing

When done right, working a studio is a collaborative and creative process, where the right techniques can help give a song new life. Sound can be captured and manipulated in so many ways that can heighten and help express the emotions of the music. So, why not let a nerd like me focus on the tech, so you can focus on the music.

For recording, I work with some awesome studios in the city, each with their own strengths, gear, and price tags, so we will make sure we find the right space for you and your project.

Production

When you work with me as a producer, my first priority is creating a positive and inspiring environment. This way we can work together to find the best path for your music. The entire process is driven by you, the artist, and my job is to help you envision what the final product can be. Whether that means arranging a string section for the bridge, hopping behind the drumset or hiring the perfect guitarist for that solo, I can help.
